Ragnhild May (DK)
Ragnhild May is an artist from Denmark living in Copenhagen and Malmö.
Working in the field between visual arts and music, she works with installation, performance and sculpture. Her works has been shown internationally, recent performances and exhibitions include Issue Project Room (USA), Konsthall Varberg (SE), SuperDeluxe (JP), The Danish National Gallery (DK),
Recent awards and grants include International Studio & Curatorial Progam (NYC), The Danish Composer Society and the Danish Arts Council.
She studied visual arts at the Jutland Art Academy with professors Jørgen Michaelsen, Learning Site (Rikke Luther & Cecilia Wendt), Søren Andreasen and Brett Bloom, and sculpture at Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with professor Julian Göthe.
After receiving a visual arts degree, she was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study Music/Sound at Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts Bard College (NY) under Bill Dietz and Marina Rosenfeld.
